This past week I visited the Virginia Safari Park with my family and Grandfather. I have to say, it was one of the most funny and interesting experiences I have ever had. I had both the girls in my back seat while my son was in the other car with my Husband and Grandfather. How it works is you pay for however many feed buckets you want, you then proceed to drive through an open area where the animals are free to roam. Once you hit the entrance the animals pile towards your car, sticking their heads in because they know you have feed. I had zebras, emu, lamas, and more sticking their heads in my lap! It was such an enjoyable experience that I recommend everyone to go. My favorite part was snapping photos of these lovely creatures. Now you know how I got so close.
Time has flown buy quickly. I am still looking for anyone interested in allowing me to do some photos for them to add to my portfolio. I will be in Virginia in June and July, so if you are local please don’t hesitate to contact me. I have been busy enjoying taking more photos of my children.
Happy Spring!
First off..Welcome! I am so excited to announce the grand opening of my website and blog. The whole process has been fun and frustrating at the same time as I strove to learn the in and outs of web design. By no means is this perfect, but it is just a start and I hope over time to make improvements.
My Blog will be a place for you to see the latest on what I have been photographing. In the New Year I hope to work outside the box of just my family. So if you are looking for some photos taken of you or your family, don’t hesitate to contact me. I would love to build up my portfolio.
Thanks for coming by to visit. My Family and I wish you a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. See you next year! Enjoy some pre-Christmas Day photos.
This post is in remembrance of my Dad, David, who passed away earlier this year. I hope this makes him proud. 1955-2009
